In Los Angeles, a gang of surfing bank robbers who call themselves The Ex-Presidents commit their crimes while wearing masks of Reagan, Carter, Nixon and Johnson. The FBI sends young agent Johnny Utah (Keanu Reeves) undercover to mix with the bank robbing surfers, including charismatic Bodhi (Patrick Swayze). Directed by Kathryn Bigelow, this action classic explores societal institutions, personal identity, and justice.
