Professional space to record audio, create podcasts, and produce music. Includes an isolation booth, MIDI keyboard, and other music production tools upon request.

Access the space
The room is available to all students, faculty, and staff who complete our Media Production Rooms Canvas course. You’ll receive instructions on how to book the space after you complete the training.
When you arrive for a reservation, visit the Shapiro Lobby Information Services Desk to check out the room key and equipment needed.

The soundbooth has 2 windows and is 4 feet long, 4 feet wide, and 7 feet high. If you've experienced claustrophobia in the past, we recommend recording on the microphones attached to the computer in the room instead.
