About the space

Work in the Clark Library's seating area by yourself or with a small group. There are sets of couches and armchairs with coffee tables, as well as large tables with movable chairs. The seating runs along south-facing windows with a view of the Clements Library and plenty of natural light.

Expect the sounds of steady traffic with people passing through on their way between Hatcher and Shapiro libraries when you’re studying here. Clark Library Exhibit Space display cases are opposite the main seating area.

There is also counter-height seating and a small number of campus computing site computers along the map cases on the opposite end of the floor.

Covered drinks (such as water bottles) are allowed in this space, but food is not permitted to protect the maps and keep the area clean.
