Come experience dramatic expressions of social, political, and creative thought through theater materials from the International Studies collections.
From the Volksbühne to the El-Hakawati Theater troupe, theaters and performance groups have historically given space to question status quo and explore alternative realities. This month’s open house will feature plays, theatrical production, costuming, set design, and staged performance art from theater groups around the world.
Join us for Third Thursdays at the Library, a themed monthly open house where we share materials from our collections.
While you’re here, pick up a Third Thursdays Passport and collect a stamp! Make it around to all four Third Thursday Open Houses — the Clark Library, International Studies, Asia Library, and the Special Collections Research Center — and win a prize!
