When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them I have one of the best jobs in the world: I get to say “thank you” to generous people every day.

As a member of the development team, my primary responsibility is ensuring that every donor feels recognized and appreciated. Gifts of all sizes provide vital resources that support students, faculty, the broader campus, and our community.

I also collaborate with library partners to ensure that each contribution is used in accordance with the donor’s intent. I then share meaningful updates that demonstrate how donor support strengthens the library and benefits our patrons, both on campus and throughout the world.

In addition, I work closely with development colleagues to strategically plan and implement activities, initiatives, and events that deepen donors’ engagement with the library, its collections, and the remarkable people who make its work possible.
