I am currently filling in as Interim Associate University Librarian for Library Information Technology and Technical Services while the permanent position is vacant.

My day job is Deputy Director for Library IT and Director of LIT's Architecture & Engineering department. As Deputy Director I provide tactical leadership for the day-to-day activity of LIT from the whole-division perspective. This includes day-to-day management of the LIT product portfolio and budget.

I have over 25 years of experience in higher education academic, enterprise, and research computing as a developer, systems engineer, and team leader. This includes a previous two-year term as Interim Associate University Librarian for Library IT here at Michigan. I have been in Library IT at the U-M Library since 2007. I have a BS and MS in Atmospheric Science, but I have never been a practicing meteorologist.
