My work is project-based so it varies from day to day. I support my library colleagues by managing various aspects of our LSP, Alma, including troubleshooting tickets that come in through TDX on a number of subjects. These can include fulfillment issues, record and user loads, metadata issues, generating reports, and user management. My special interest is project management. I am committed to learning how to effectively manage projects that are successful and are also firmly established in the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. I believe DEIA are values that must be lived out and suffuse all we do, not boxes to check off to meet an arbitrary set of standards. I am the project manager for the Digifeeds Partner Metadata Workflow Project. I am also a member of the SACUA Information Technology Committee (ITC) and currently providing project management support for the campus survey team.
