Spouses or Other Qualified Adults

Current faculty and staff members can request physical borrowing privileges for their spouse or other qualified adult (OQA). These eligible adults are responsible for their own borrowing activity.

You must have an active faculty level position or be in a permanent regular staff appointment at a 50% level or greater when submitting a request.

What's included

There is no limit on the number of items that can be checked out at one time for spouse or OQA borrowing privileges and items can be renewed.

Privileges do not include access to online resources or delivery services like interlibrary loan.

Request borrowing privileges

Once established, borrowing privileges are good for one year or for the duration of the faculty or staff appointment, if less than one year. Privileges can be renewed each year, as applicable.
