Hatcher North Reading Rooms

Hatcher Library is closed to the public. You may reserve individual study space in the Shapiro Library for up to 4 hours per day

Reference Reading RoomHatcher Library North, Second Floor, Room 200

This vaulted, historic space contains long tables with wooden chairs and reading lamps, as well as upholstered seating. Plugs are available under the tables for battery charging.

International Studies Reading RoomHatcher Library North, First Floor, Room 110

This small reading room, with movable tables and chairs that can accommodate around 20 people, is somewhat tucked away. It’s shared with International Studies library staff and can be accessed from the Hatcher North lobby.

Asia Library Reading RoomHatcher Library North, Fourth Floor, Room 421

This cozy room for quiet studying contains some computers, study desks, lounge seating, and open tables.
