Digital Scholarship and Creative Spaces

Who we are

What we do

Digital Scholarship and Creative Spaces is a community of library experts and learning spaces dedicated to facilitating workshops, course-integrated instruction, public programming, and consultation on a wide range of scholarly methodologies and technologies.

Our programs and spaces — the Computer and Video Game Archive, Digital Scholarship, ScholarSpace, and the Shapiro Design Lab  — strive to foster environments and partnerships for discovery and bringing ideas to life.

Things we can help with include:

  • Partnering on developing digital scholarship projects
  • Exploring classic and contemporary video games
  • Learning how to create a website or online survey
  • Trying out 3D printing, letterpress, or sewing your own clothes (and more!) in our Workshop
  • Recording a podcast or video in our Media Production Rooms
  • Designing a research or presentation poster
  • Putting the finishing touches on a dissertation

Members of our team are available for consultations about your ideas via the above email, or you can reach out to specific people through space and program pages.
