Join us for two short films, followed by discussion.

Taking sides: Being biracial with Anna Kitagawa (2019), 9 minutes
Too often, biracial teens find themselves caught between the different aspects of their identity. Anna talks about her personal struggles, and evolution, synthesizing her Western and Japanese identities.

Let's Start by Sharing our Biracial Experience with Kelsey Bengue (2019), 8 minutes
Kelsey is bi-racial, and began her academic inquiry wondering why people needed to know her origins. Through that examination she came to understand that why was just the beginning. She shares common experiences of bi-racial individuals and why those who aren't mixed race should understand them.
