Using Library Search

Library Search is your main point of access for finding the books, journals, articles, audio and video recordings, data sets, and more that the library owns or subscribes to.

It also shows what’s available at the Bentley Historical Library, Clements Library, and U-M Flint’s Thompson Library.

If you’re looking for items from the U-M Law School, Kresge Business Administration School, and U-M Dearborn, you’ll need to search their catalogs separately.

To view a broad sampling of results, use the “everything” search. You can also limit your search to the library’s catalog, or search specifically for articles, databases, online journals, and library guides and more.

For help getting started or refining your results, see Tips for Using Library Search.
