I have been a part of the Human Resource team for the University of Michigan Library since 2015. I currently serve as the Human Resource Manager for the library, and prior to this I served in a generalist / partner role. I lead the operations of the HR team and provide strategic and consultative human resource support in matters such as compensation, workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance (FMLA, ADA, etc.). I participate in the Library's Workforce Strategy Team and serve as a co-chair of the Management Development Committee and People Leaders Employee Resource Group. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, I worked at Lockheed Martin in numerous HR generalist and specialist roles including labor relations, recruitment, and diversity and equal opportunity programs. I also currently serve as the president-elect for the Michigan chapter of the College and University Professional Association in Human Resources (CUPA-HR.) 

I have a Masters in Business Administration from Michigan State University, a Bachelors in Sociology from Northwestern University, and over 15 years of human resource experience in the public and private sectors. I have a certification as a Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM-SCP) from the Society for Human Resource Management.
