Digital Library Applications

We’re focused on the development of applications that enable digital preservation and access. This includes software for storing, searching and using content; creating and managing collections of content; and interoperating with other systems. Principles that guide our work are sustainability of solutions and longevity of content.

Services and projects we are working on include Dark Blue, Deep Blue, Fulcrum, Library Search, and the Digital Object Repository (DOR).

Within the library, we collaborate regularly with Digital Content and Collections and Michigan Publishing. 

We also participate in partnerships with open source communities including Samvera, DSpace, IIIF (International Image, and Fedora.
