Artists and activists who identify as women, non-binary, trans, queer, Black, Indigenous, or people of color only make up a fraction of contributors and content subjects in Wikipedia. Join us to learn how you can take action to address this imbalance by creating or updating Wikipedia entries!

1:00-2:30pm
Join a long table discussion focused on disrupting patriarchy and empowering women and queer artists in online spaces. Participants will include U-M faculty and local artists whose work addresses the intersection of race, gender, and sexuality, and we invite you to contribute.

2:45-5:00pm
Participate in a Wikipedia edit-a-thon, where you can help make improvements to Wikipedia directly. We'll provide tutorials for the beginner Wikipedian, reference materials, and refreshments.

This event is a partnership between the U-M Library, the Ann Arbor District Library, LSA Technology Services, and the Stamps Gallery.
