About me

As a member of the Library's senior management team, I contribute to Library-wide strategic planning, with a primary focus on our various collection services. My current responsibilities include overall management of the Library’s materials budget and collection development strategy, and I lead  a group of library departments that are all focused on creating and preserving access to information resources, in all languages, subjects and formats: Preservation and Conservation, Document Delivery, Technical Services, the Special Collections Research Center, and the Papyrology Collection.

After earning degrees in French history from Princeton University and from the University of Michigan, I worked for 18 years in a variety of public service roles at the Hatcher Graduate Library, particularly in the areas of History, European Studies and Religion. I served as Coordinator of Collection Development for the Hatcher Graduate Library (2001-2007), then Collection Development Officer for University Library (2007-2011), and have been active in several academic and library associations, particularly the European Studies Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries.
