Gallery Layout Options

Choose from these common room layout options, or schedule an appointment at to view the Hatcher Gallery and discuss a custom setup.

Presenter layout options

The stage is a fixed presence at the front of the room, along with a wheelchair-accessible ramp. We can add tables and chairs to the stage at your request, and raise or lower the projector screen.

Lecture layout

The default layout on the stage includes a lectern, lectern microphone, projector screen, and laptop audiovisual hookup. If your presenter wants to move around, ask us for a lapel mic.

Panel layout

For a panel discussion on the stage, we can set up a table, 4–6 chairs, and up to 4 wireless table microphones. The projector screen can be raised or lowered. For a panel discussion with more than 6 participants, we can place two tables in front of the stage.

Conversation layout

For a discussion between an interviewer and an invited guest, we suggest a casual layout of two padded chairs separated by a small table for beverages and notes. Lapel microphones are recommended.

Audience seating options

The gallery can accommodate up to 100 attendees.

Lecture layout

The default layout is 100 chairs set up in rows to maximize seating capacity, which is best for lectures, presentations, panel discussions, conversations, film screenings, or any other event intended for a large seated audience.

Workshop layout

Create a workshop environment with 15 tables and up to 55 chairs. Also available are 6 portable whiteboards.
